Walter Hudson Responds to Biden Administration's "Ministry of Truth"
It was revealed late Wednesday that the Biden administration's Department of Homeland Security is creating a "'Disinformation Governance Board' to combat misinformation ahead of the 2022 midterms."
Fox News reports:
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas...
"The goal is to bring the resources of (DHS) together to address this threat," Mayorkas said, adding that the department is focused on the spread of disinformation in minority communities.
Minnesota state representative candidate Walter Hudson reacted on social media, calling for the immediate impeachment of President Joe Biden.
"It's war," Hudson tweeted. "We will not have a Ministry of Truth in America. This is impeachable."
In a subsequent Facebook post, Hudson added:
Every federal candidate and elected legislator needs to respond to this. We need to know where they stand and it needs to be a top midterm issue. As a state representative, I'll be working to nullify any administrative rule coming out of this board and criminalize its actions in our state. We'll be arresting feds unless they back off this outrageous incursion.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) says of constitutionally protected free speech that "without it, other fundamental rights, like the right to vote, would wither and die." They summarize the history of speech suppression in the United States and the long struggle to uphold freedom of expression as a principle.
Walter Hudson is the Republican endorsed candidate for state representative in Minnesota's house district 30A, representing Rockford Township, Hanover, St. Michael, Albertville, and much of Otsego.
